Week of April 19th
Good Afternoon!
I hope you are all having a nice week. I apologize for my delay in sending my
weekly update, I am happy to say Austin appears to be on the mend and I
am so happy to be back in school with your amazing children!
Tomorrow our school will be having a special “Earth Day” themed TAG day
that Emma Rust & her 3rd Grade class created for us. Your child may dress
down tomorrow, please wear anything with blue or green on it, and the $1

Week of April 12th- Welcome Back!
Good Afternoon & Welcome Back!
I hope everyone had a truly wonderful and Blessed Easter and Spring Break.
I missed all the children so much, it was so great being back with them
today in school. I cannot believe we are already in the middle of April &
beginning the last marking period of the year! We are off to a tremendous
start to this beautiful month together.
Here is some important information regarding the week ahead:
1) Reading Folders went home today with our new April monthly work and all
weekly homework. In an effort to reduce the number of pages used, I made
them all two-sided this month, so please look on the back of your monthly &
weekly assignments to find everything you need, it is also stapled together
but feel free to take them apart if that is easier. We will be having our
next spelling test on Friday and also giving out coupons/rewards for March
Reading Homework this week.
2) We will be working on a very special and adorable project this week but
we do need your help with one part. If you could please send in a picture of
your child from when they were a baby that we can use to cut & glue
permanently onto a project, I would greatly appreciate it. If you prefer to
send it to me digitally through Dojo or email, I can gladly print it out for
you as well. I kindly ask that you send in the baby pictures by Thursday
morning if possible. Thank you so much, it is one of my favorite projects and
we will post pictures when the class has finished them. :)
3) I am very excited to announce that our summer camp registration is
finally ready & available! An alert should be sent out from the office but if
you are interested in registering for camp, please use the link provided
below and fill out the Google Form. We have a lot of fun programs, events,
and activities planned to make it another awesome summer at STS!

theme is “Sports”. Please send in your $1 donation if your child dresses
down on Friday.

Thursday, June 17th at 10:00 am.
