Week of April 29th

 

Good Afternoon!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend & is enjoying this

beautiful weather. I am so happy to be back with our class,

my last kidney procedure is this Thursday afternoon & then I

hope to start feeling more normal again!  A huge thank you to you

all for your patience, to Mrs. Nowel for doing such an amazing job holding down the fort in my absence last week and to

Mrs. Grawehr & Mrs. Ortiz for their additional help as well. 

I cannot believe we are already about to begin the month of May!

Time is flying by so quickly and as much as I love all the exciting

events we have coming up, it makes me so sad to know we are

quickly approaching the end of the year. 

Here is some information for the week ahead:

1) Reading folders are coming home with our new weekly packet.

There is a TOP SECRET, VERY IMPORTANT assignment that I

explained to the class included to begin our preparations for

Mrs. Nowel’s upcoming birthday, which is next Monday.

Please try to send completed packets by Friday morning so I

have time to put it together over the weekend. I will be sending an

email this week with info about the birthday celebration as well. 🙂

2) Tomorrow is snack shop, please send any $ in lunchboxes.

Pizza money is due no later than Thursday morning please.

3) We will be attending First Friday mass this Friday at 8:45 am.

All are welcome to attend. 

4) Next Tuesday will begin our Kindergarten Final Countdown.

Next Monday you will receive a special calendar listing each day's

themes & events. I will also be contacting parent volunteers next

week for some help on our big event days. 🙂

5) Please save the date for Kindergarten Graduation on

Thursday, June 13th at 9:00 am. More info to come!

• Spelling Words: (ee)- see, bee, seed, feet, green

• Writer’s Workshop- Making a Sentence

• Money Unit Begins

• We Belong to the Church

4) Science:

• Life Cycles 

5) Social Studies:

-Our Wonderful World

Week of April 15th

 

Good Afternoon Everyone!

I hope you all had a nice weekend and are enjoying this beautiful weather. :) 

Please read the following info below:

1) Tomorrow there will be snack shop open during lunch.

Please send any $ in your child’s lunchbox. 

2) There is LEGO club tomorrow. If you sent in the universal permission slip for your child- they are all set to attend. 

3) Pizza money is due no later than Thursday please.

4) Reading Folders are coming home today with our new spelling &

sight words. Our Spelling Test will be Friday on our “TH” words. 

5) This Friday is TAG day- there is no specific theme. Please be sure

to send in the $1 donation if your child dresses down (unless paid in advance for the year).

6) Our Family Field Trip is coming up next week on Wednesday! We are very excited to visit Space Farms together with Pre-K & our families. 🙂

6) Spring Picture Day is Friday, April 26th. Order forms went home

last week, this is optional. Please note that this is also our rain date

for our field trip.

It was so nice being back with the students today. 

Please read the following info below:

1) Tomorrow there will be snack shop open during lunch.

Please send any $ in your child’s lunchbox. 

2) Pizza money is due no later than Thursday please.

3) Reading Folders are coming home today with our new spelling &

sight words review, along with the new April monthly log & READO board. Our Spelling Test will be Friday on our “SH” words. 

4) Spring Picture Day is Friday, April 26th.
