Good Afternoon Everyone,
I hope you all had a nice weekend. I am so VERY happy to be back
with our class, I missed them SO much.
I cannot believe we are already so close to Christmas Break, it
truly went way too fast and I am so sad I missed time with them. 🙁
Here is some info about our short (yet special) week ahead:
1) This week due to the shortened schedule, there will not be any
new weekly homework packets. Students can instead work on their
Monthly READO boards, practice looking for their sight words in
Christmas stories, or practice measuring Christmas items around your
house. Have fun during this week of JOY! 🙂
2) SAVE THE DATE- Our Kindergarten Parent Teacher Conferences
will be taking place on Thursday, January 25th & Friday, January 26th.
Here is our Sign Up Genius to select the time & date you would like to
meet. Our conferences will be taking place in the office meeting room
located at the church.
If none of the dates/times work for you, please reach out to me and I
will gladly work out something that works better for you.

3) Our Christmas Gift Exchange will be taking place this Thursday
during our class party. Please see the letter sent home last week (or
sent digitally here as well) and send in gifts labeled FROM with your
child’s name, no later than Wednesday. Please do not hesitate to reach
out to me with any questions or concerns.
4) This Thursday will be our last day before Christmas vacation. It is
a Christmas theme TAG day, so students can dress in their fun, festive
clothing. We will be attending the school breakfast and having our
class party. It is a half day with a noon dismissal and NO aftercare.
School is closed beginning on Friday, 12/23 and reopens on Wednesday,
01/03.
5) There is Snack Shop open tomorrow during lunch. Please send snack
shop $ in lunchboxes or homework folders if you’d like your child to
purchase a treat. The 5th Grade Quarters for Kenya guessing game is
ongoing until Wednesday. Students can bring in quarters to guess the
# of candies in a jar for a chance to win. The $ raised goes towards
our sister school St. Cecilia’s in Kenya.
Here are our themes/concepts for the week:
