Good Afternoon & Happy Week of JOY! 

I cannot believe we are halfway through Advent already, time is going faster than ever but every day we get to spend with your children is so special. We have a lot of events coming up for the last few days of the month, please review the following info carefully & reach out with any questions. 

1) Tomorrow,Tuesday, 12/16 is the Christmas Music Concert for grades K-8th at 6:30 pm. Students are asked to arrive wearing their “festive Sunday best” (Christmas colors, dressed nicely, etc.) The doors will open at 6:15 pm. Please see the attached flyer with specific drop off locations and info for how the concert will go. 

2) Gifts for our K Christmas Party Gift Exchange are due by this Wednesday, 12/17 or Thursday 12/18 the latest please. We will be having our class party this Friday afternoon with Mrs. Nowel & I. 🙂

4) Reading folders are coming home today with our new materials. Due to the concert tomorrow night, we will not be collecting this week’s materials until Monday, 12/22. 

5) Tomorrow snack shop will be open during lunch time. Please label any $ you send in and place in homework folders.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a Blessed start to the 2nd week of Advent!

Here is some important information about the week ahead:

1) Tomorrow is pajama day for CHOP. Students may wear their pajamas to school, and please make sure students still wear school safe shoes (sneakers). Here is the link donate: https://chop.donordrive.com/campaigns/St-Therese-School-Pajama-Day-for-CHOP

2) Snack shop will be open tomorrow during lunch. Please label $ and place in homework folders. 

3) Tomorrow we will be visiting the Santa Shop in the afternoon from 12:20-1:00 pm. Our 8th grade buddies will also be assisting our class. 

4) Reading & math homework is coming home today and is not due back until Friday. Please note that due to the snow day,the Polar Express Day, and the half day on Friday last week, this week we are working on a review unit so there is no new reading newsletter.

Week of 12/1

 

Good afternoon! I hope you are all having a blessed start to this Advent season! We have a very busy but so special & magical month ahead for our amazing class. Please read the following info below:

1) Due to the predicted winter weather tomorrow, BOTH the school wide pajama day (fundraiser for CHOP) & the Santa Shop has been rescheduled to next week on Tuesday, 12/9. 

2) Our class will be having our TOP SECRET SURPRISE POLAR EXPRESS DAY coming up this Thursday 12/04. K students will be told on Wednesday afternoon that they have won a grand prize of an epic PAJAMA PARTY just for our class. They are asked to wear their favorite, festive jammies to school with gym-safe shoes and they may also bring ONE stuffed animal friend to join them. 

Please try not to tell them about our special day, one of the best parts of this day is the pure surprise and joy that comes from the magic of surprising them. I cannot wait for their reactions and to make so many fun memories together! 🙂

3) An important flyer is coming home in homework folders regarding our Kindergarten Christmas party & gift exchange coming up on Friday 12/19. Please read the letter and reach out with any questions as well. 🙂

4) Reading folders are coming home today with our new monthly and weekly materials. Please send completed weekly work in on Friday. Monthly work is not due back until Monday, Jan. 5th.
