Week of November 4th

Good Afternoon & Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. I can’t believe
it is already November, the year is flying by. We have a
lot of fun and exciting things coming up this month.

I first wanted to bring to your attention that starting
today we will be sending home our READING folders as
we begin our weekly “homework”. There is a blue sheet
full, detailed letter in your child’s reading folder that will
explain everything completely. Please send back the
Reading Folder on Friday morning with weekly activities
that your child chose. Students seemed very excited to
start this when I showed them today. :)

Here is some important information & reminders about
the week ahead:

1) Winter Uniforms have begun. Please make sure your
child is wearing their winter uniform daily, as well as layers
to school (jacket, etc.) because we will be going out for
recess each day as long as it is above 32 degrees and not
wet.

2) We will be having Library this Thursday, please return
any library books you may have at home.

3) There is no school on Monday November 11th in
observance of Veteran’s Day.

4) SAVE THE DATE: On Friday November 22nd at 1:00 pm,

followed by a Friends-giving celebration in our classroom.
