Week of May 15th

Good Afternoon!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend &

a Blessed Mother’s Day. Thank you all SO much

for making me feel so loved & appreciated last week

for Teacher’s Appreciation. I am truly blessed

beyond words for all of you and your incredible

children in my class this year. I am SO sad that

we only have 17 school days left together. :(

Please read below for lots of important info

about the week ahead:

1) Our Spring Music Concert is coming up this Thursday

at 6:30 pm. Students are asked to be dropped off by 6:15 pm

dressed in their “Sunday Best”. Kindergarten students will be

dropped off in the 2nd grade classroom. K-4 will perform first

at 6:30 pm and will be dismissed after.

2) We are preparing for our next BIG event (aside from

Graduation)- our TOP SECRET- Terrific Surprise Tuesday

3) Reading folders went home today with new weekly words &

materials. For the spelling homework- please create a word search

with our new words (silent e) but do NOT complete it, as students

will be doing that Friday morning with friends.

We are now officially done adding NEW sight words-

we will spend the rest of the year reviewing ALL the words we have learned this year (80 in total!)

4) This Friday is our next school-wide TAG day- the theme is

Red, White & Blue Patriotic. Students may dress down with

their $1 donation. We will also be celebrating my birthday

on Friday afternoon as well. :)

5) Summer birthday celebration letters went home with the

date we will be celebrating our summer birthday friends.

Please let me know if the date your child has been given does

not work for you. We look forward to celebrating with all

our friends!

6) Kindergarten Graduation Invitations are going home today

as well in homework folders. Please try to RSVP to me with

your number of guests no later than next Friday, May 26th.

I will be sending out one last SignUpGenius next weekend to

assist with Graduation.

Students will also have a very special line to a

Kindergarten Poem that they will say during our

Graduation show. These lines will be going home

TOMORROW with them in their homework folder.

Please practice their line with them every day. 🙂
