Week of May 28th

 

Good Afternoon!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend! I can’t believe we are already in the last week of May. 

Here is some important information about the week ahead:

1) Tomorrow is field day! A reminder letter is going home in folders today that will remind you of the color team your child is on, along with important instructions. Please see the color chart below as well for what color shirt your child should wear with their gym shorts tomorrow. 

2) Due to the shortened week, along with Field Day & other events we have going on, we will NOT be having any new spelling words or a spelling test this week. There is also no weekly homework packet for this week. We will have one last one sent home next Monday.

3) Today we are starting to really prepare for our big Graduation Show! Each student in our class has been assigned a special line to say as part of our show, you will see these lines taped to the FRONT of their homework folders. Please try to practice these lines every day. We will be making a recording by the end of next week of students saying their lines, and it will be compiled into a special video that we will share at our show on Thursday, June 13th.  Formal graduation invites & a detailed letter will be coming home by tomorrow or Thursday as well for you all! 🙂

4) Please send pizza money in by Thursday the latest if you would like to order for this Friday.

Week of May 20th

 

Thank you for making my birthday so special! I am so blessed! :) 

Good Afternoon,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We have a busy week ahead!

Here is some important information to please read carefully:

1) Tomorrow is our Spring Music Concert for Grades K-3.

Students are still to wear their regular SCHOOL uniform to school.

The concert will begin at 1:00 pm in the gym. If you plan on taking

your child home with you after the concert, please send us a note

or dojo message to let us know ASAP so we can mark dismissal accordingly. 

2) This Friday is a half day with a noon dismissal and NO aftercare.

It is a TAG day- the theme is Red, White & Blue. It is also our TOP

SECRET MAGICAL SURPRISE DAY! We are very excited for a

MARVELOUS & MEMORABLE day with our class. 🙂

3) There is no snack shop and no pizza lunch this week. 

4) Next Wednesday, May 29th is Field Day. Letters went home

last week telling you what color team your child will be on to let

you know what color shirt they should wear that morning with

their gym shorts.  

5) Please save the date for Kindergarten Graduation on

Thursday, June 13th at 9:00 am. More info & formal invites to come!

Week of May 13th

 

Good Afternoon!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend & all our amazing mother’s

had an incredible mother’s day! This week we are very busy, please read below for important info:

1) The Scholastic Book Fair is here! Our class will be visiting the book

fair tomorrow morning to make our WISH LISTS.

These lists will then come home in your child’s homework folder tomorrow.

Please review it RIGHT AWAY & send it back in with the approved

items for purchase along with money by Wednesday.

You can also see our school website to set up an E-Wallet for your child to use Wednesday if you prefer. We will be returning

Wednesday morning to do our actual shopping. 

2) Tomorrow is snack shop, please send any $ in lunchboxes. Pizza money is due no later than Thursday please. 

3) This Friday is a special TAG day for Mary’s Place By the Sea. The theme is to wear pink/purple and the $1 donation will be collected Friday morning. 

4) Summer Camp registration is in its very last week and will

officially be closing this weekend. If you are interested in joining us

Week of May 6th

 

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Nowel! We are SO blessed to have you in Kindergarten & are wishing you the very best day ever!

Good Afternoon Everyone!
I hope you all had a great weekend. I am very excited for our month ahead! :) 

Please read below for info about the week ahead:

1) Tomorrow is a TAG day for teacher appreciation week- the

theme is summer colors! There is also snack shop available during

lunch- please send any $ in lunchboxes. Pizza money due no later

than Thursday please. 

2) This Wednesday will start our Kindergarten Final Countdown!

You will receive the daily calendar in your child’s homework folder

tomorrow. Please check that daily to see what we will be doing each

day as we countdown to graduation. An email will be going out to

parent volunteers this week for some help with our big final

countdown days.

(Truly still cannot believe this is happening already! Way TOO fast!) 

3) Homework is coming home today with new weekly work

AND our last monthly READO board of the year! For spelling

this week you will see a choice board for your child to select

how they’d like to practice spelling. Please send all completed

work in by Friday. Monthly board is not due back until June 3rd. 

4) We will be attending the May Crowning this Thursday at

1:00 pm. Students should still wear their gym uniforms on Thursday.
