Good Afternoon!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We have a short but busy week
ahead. Please read the following information carefully:
1) Today we have officially started our sight word curriculum (we call them
POPCORN words because they POP out when you see them!) and along with
that starts our weekly/monthly homework! :)
Your child is coming home today with their READING FOLDERS that
includes a detailed letter and our weekly & monthly assignments. Typically
we ask you to please keep these folders at home until Friday, but since it is
a shortened week, students have until next Tuesday to return their reading
folders.
2) Tomorrow Snack Shop will be open at lunch. Please send labeled $ (no
more than $1-$2 please) in your child’s folder if you want them to purchase
a snack.
3) Wednesday is a half day with a NOON dismissal and there is NO
aftercare. School is closed this Friday 10/11 and Monday 10/14 for the
holiday weekend.
4) Scholastic Book Catalogs are coming home today. If you are interested
in ordering, please place orders online. Deadline is Tuesday 10/15.
5) Now that the weather is changing, students should always layer each
day. Please make sure all their clothes are LABELED! 🙂
