Hello Everyone & Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a nice weekend. As much as we all absolutely LOVED
that early Spring preview, it looks like Jack Frost has brought back
winter for us this week. Please make sure children come to school with
jackets, hats, gloves on the colder days, as we will still be going outside
as long as it is dry.
Here is our weekly update with what is coming up for our class:
1) We will have our next Spelling test this Friday on the Short Vowel “i”
words. Our students did phenomenal last week again, I am so proud of
them. Spelling homework is due back on Thursday, you will find the
worksheet in their Reading Folders that are going home today.
2) Easter Egg filler donations are due by this Friday, March 19th please.
Thank you so much for your support! We will have a class Easter
celebration on Wednesday, March 31st. More information to come
by the end of the week! :)
3) We will celebrate St. Patricks Day this Wednesday, March 17th with a
TAG day and lots of fun! Students may dress down in festive green attire
for $1 that will go towards our 8th grade class.
4) This Friday, March 19th is World Down Syndrome Awareness Day and
will be a “crazy sock TAG day”. All donations will go towards local charities.
5) Please be sure to check the Friday Folder for more upcoming events
and information as well.
