Good Afternoon!
I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. We have an awesome, yet
very busy, week ahead! Please read the following important
information:
1) Today our students created their Book Fair shopping wish lists, you
will find it in their homework folders. Please review these lists,
highlight or circle the items you would like them to purchase, and then
send in the money with your child along with the list by Wednesday
morning. That morning is when we will return back to the book fair to
purchase. You may also set up a digital account by following the
directions on the wish list so you can pay digitally. The book fair will
also be open during tomorrow evening’s HSA meeting so you can
purchase in-person at that time.
2) Our spelling test for this week will be on Thursday, as we have our
super special surprise Magic Treehouse Day all day Friday. The words
this week are a review of sight words we have learned previously
(have, can, like, play, here). Our spelling & reading homework is due
Friday as well.
3) Field Day T-Shirts are due this Wednesday as children will be tie
dying in class that day. Please send in a ziplock bag with a plain white
t-shirt, labeled with your child’s name on the ziplock bag AND shirt
(both hem & tag), and some rubber bands by Wednesday morning.
4) Kona Ice will be visiting STS on June 8th for a fun frozen treat for
everyone. However, this is a pre order event that MUST be turned in
by this Friday. If you are interested in your child receiving an ice
treat, please complete the form following the link below and send in no
later than this Friday.

5) This Friday is a half day with a noon dismissal and there is no after
care. There is no school next Monday for Memorial Day.
6) As the weather is getting warmer, please ensure students bring a
water bottle from home each day. We can refill as needed here in the
classroom. Also, students may bring a hat in their backpack to keep
for outside recess if you’d like.
7) Our Kindergarten Graduation is June 17th at 10:00 am. Details to
