Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend despite the rainy weather. We have a very busy week ahead and there is a lot of papers coming home in folders today.
Please read below for important info:
1) Tomorrow the snack shop will be open during lunch. If you’d like your child to purchase a snack, please send $ labeled in their homework folder tomorrow. Please do not send more than $1, as snacks only cost 50 cents-$1 max. 🙂
2) October Lunch Helper Sign Up Link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B0549AFA929AAFB6-66212105-october Please remember you must have completed the VIRTUS clearance in order to be a lunch helper. If you are interested, please try to sign up ASAP for any dates you can help as the main office & security officers would like a printed list of K helpers by the beginning of each month.
3) Field Trip Reminder- This Wednesday is our annual K Trip to Tranquility Farms! Please see the printed reminder sent home in folders for more details. REMINDER- There is also NO Bootcamp on Wednesday- we resume Thursday with letter M. 🙂
4) The Scholastic Book Fair will be coming to STS next week. A flyer is coming home today in folders. We will be going for a preview day first and then a wishlist will come home for you to review after. We will have a separate day for purchasing books. This will be explained more next week as well.
5) We are preparing for a jam-packed, super fun October ahead for K with our ABC Bootcamp Fashion Show, Pumpkin Investigation Day, and of course Halloween! We are kindly asking if any families would like to help donate some Halloween goody bag favors, please send them in to school no later than Friday, October 23rd. We have 24 students in our class.
6) Speaking of Halloween, our amazing K Room Moms are planning some of our Halloween party fun and have an awesome snack idea that they would like to do with our class. Please see the printed permission slip in your child’s folder & return by the end of this week.
7) This Thursday we will beginning the month of the Holy Rosary by praying a decade each morning. We will also have our annual STS Walk-a-thon that morning. Students will still wear gym uniforms as normal.
8) This Friday we will be attending First Friday Mass at 8:30 am.
