Week of March 27th




Good Afternoon!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. It is hard to believe

we are already in the last week of March! Time needs to slow down please!! 


Please see below for the important info for our week ahead:

1) Tomorrow there will be Art Club after school. Snack shop will

be open at lunch. Pizza $ due no later than Thursday. 


2) If you haven’t already done so, please RSVP with your number of

guests for our upcoming Easter Picnic & Egg Hunt next

Tuesday, April 4th at 12:00 pm. Please also let me know if

you will not be able to join us.


3) Easter Egg fillers are due no later than this Friday please,

thank you so much for your support!


4) SAVE THE DATE- As per Mr. Dunnigan’s blog on Friday,

our end of year dates have been set and due to unused snow

days we are getting out earlier than originally scheduled.

Therefore our Kindergarten Graduation will be held on

Wednesday, June 7th at 9:00 am (please note- time on calendar says 10:00 but we are planning on changing it to 9:00 am).

Please note this is Kindergarten’s LAST day, they come for Graduation ONLY & then they officially finished for the school year!


The big school’s (Grades 1-7) last day is Thursday, June 8th. 


5) Reading homework went home today, our next spelling test

will be Friday. Homework is due back by Friday or by next Monday the latest.

Week of March 20th

 




Good Afternoon & Happy Spring!

I know our class is VERY excited to see what this beautiful season of Spring has in store for us and we are ready for the nice warmer weather to hopefully come soon.

Here is some important information for our week ahead:

1) This week we will be working on one of my favorite spring projects and

we need your help! If you could please send me ONE baby picture of your

child that I can print & cut for a super cute project, that would be greatly

appreciated. The sooner the better if you could email or DOJO one picture

to me, but please no later than Wednesday (3/22). Thank you so much! 


2) Tomorrow is “World Down Syndrome Day” students may wear crazy

socks with their uniforms and a $1 donation. 


3) Reading folders went home today with new weekly homework & our new

sight words AND spelling words. Our spelling test will be on Friday with the

Short U words. 


4) Our Easter Picnic & Egg Hunt will be taking place on Tuesday, April 4th.

Please see the letter that went home last week with more details.

All students are asked to please bring in one package of

Easter Egg fillers, they are due no later than next Friday.

5) Summer Camp Registration is finally officially open! If you are

6) Snack shop will be tomorrow, pizza money is due no later than

Thursday, please ensure it is labeled and in folders. 


7) If your child received a NUT card for your attendance at the

HSA meeting, they may use it on Friday.

1) Reading homework packets went home today with our new spelling

words. Please note that due to our St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Friday,

we will be taking our spelling test this THURSDAY instead of Friday.

4) This Friday is a TAG day, St. Patrick’s Theme (Green). If your child

Week of March 6th

 


Good Afternoon & Happy Dr. Seuss Week!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We are off to a SEUSS-tastic week already, I can tell it will be another awesome week with this class.

Please see my class story post from last night with our daily events for

this week, tomorrow is our big PAJAMA day! :)  

Please see below for more reminders & information:

1) Reading folders went home today with our new spelling words

(short i this week- test Friday) and practice sheets for popcorn

words & addition as well. Completed weekly homework is due by Friday.

The new MONTHLY work went home as well and isn’t due until Friday,

March 31st :). 


2)  Snack Shop will be held tomorrow during lunch and pizza money

(labeled) is due by Thursday please. 


3) This week we will be visiting the book fair on Thursday afternoon to

create our wish lists. Students will take the list home on Thursday for you

to review. If you would like your child to purchase the items, please select

the items you approve of and send in either cash or set up an e-wallet for

Friday afternoon.


4) CloverGram order forms are due March 13th, if you are interested in

purchasing one for your child. 


5) Snack shop will be held tomorrow at lunch, pizza money due by Thursday

please label!


6) We will be going on a spring field trip with our Pre-K3 & Pre-K4 classes

in Late April/Early May. Details are being confirmed & finalized and as

soon as they are ready we will let everyone know right away. :) 


7) Please SAVE THE DATE for our Easter Family Picnic & Egg Hunt on

Tuesday, April 4th at 11:30 am (rain date of Wednesday, April 5th).

More details to come as we get closer but all families are invited to join us

for a picnic lunch together followed by our class egg hunt & Easter party.  


8) A Parent Square should be coming out to everyone this afternoon but

as a heads up that information will be sent out with our Summer Camp

(Camp Tironi!) information! I have attached the brochure for your

reference here if you are interested in learning about our camp program.

Please note that registration is not yet open, as we are still securing a few

more of our in-house field trips. However, once registration is open & ready,

another alert will be sent to all STS families. :) 



9) St. Judes Math-a-thon books are due by this Friday, March 10th. Our

class can win a NUT card (no uniform day) if EVERY student completes the

workbook & earns a minimum of $50 in donations per student. Please see the

STS website for more information.
