Week of December 19th

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I sincerely apologize I did not get a chance to send my weekly update yesterday, we have been VERY busy with all the Christmas magic going on.

Polar Express Surprise on Friday was TRULY AMAZING! Thank you SO much to all incredible families who donated, assisted, and supported us to help make it truly one of the most memorable and magical days ever! Santa loved seeing our class!

Below is a VERY IMPORTANT reminder about tonight's Christmas Concert.

*Please let me know ASAP if your child will NOT be coming, unfortunately we do have quite a few students out sick (reminder-any student who is absent today due to any illness or fever is unfortunately not permitted to attend the concert due to school policy). *

STS K-8 Christmas Concert 2022

Date: Tuesday, December 20th

Time: 7:00 pm (students must be dropped off at 6:30 pm)

Location: St. Therese School Auditorium

Attire: “Festive Holiday Best” with safe footwear for stage

Important Info:

Kindergarten students are asked to be dropped off into the second grade classroom, located immediately to your left upon entering the main building. The learning center will not be open.

The concert will begin with a band performance at 7:00 pm and then Kindergarten will be the first class to sing on stage. Immediately following our performance, our class will be escorted back to the second grade classroom for dismissal.

All Kindergarten families must come pick up their children immediately after our performance. It is not mandatory for Kindergarten to stay for the duration of the entire concert, however, if you’d like to stay you are more than welcome, just please ensure that your Kindergarten student sits with you in the audience.

A few additional quick reminders about the week ahead:

1) Gift exchange presents are asked to be sent in no later than Thursday please. We will be having our party on Friday morning for the children to open up presents together. Please let me know if you are unable to purchase a gift ASAP so I have time to make arrangements, not a problem at all.

2) This Friday is a TAG day, the theme is "Christmas/Festive". Students may dress down in any fun Christmas clothes they would like. If your child dresses down, please send in the $1 TAG donation in their folder that morning.

3) Friday is a half day with noon dismissal and NO after care. School will be closed for Christmas vacation and reopen on January 3rd.

4) There is NO new homework for this week, we will resume our weekly & monthly routines when we arrive back from Christmas vacation.

Thank you so much for all your time & support.

I look forward to a beautiful concert this evening. God Bless!

Love & Prayers,

Mrs. Tironi
