Week of May 16th

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We certainly are off to a

very exciting start to our fun week ahead, today we even had a

real life FROG in the classroom at lunch time that we rescued

safely and put outside! There is a lot of important information

that went home today & coming up this week, please review

the following carefully:

1) We have TWO special events this week that involve food,

tomorrow’s fruit salad & Friday’s ice cream celebration. Please

use the following Google Form permission slip to let us know if

your child may enjoy each day.

https://forms.gle/QCsAVoYA2Bp41rcA8

2) Our Field Trip to Crayola is this Wednesday! A detailed reminder

was sent home today with a goodie bag in homework folders that contains

a lot of important information. I will also post a digital copy of it here

on Dojo by this evening as well. Please refer to this as we get ready

for our amazing trip.

3) Field Day t-shirts came in today for all students who ordered

& paid for them. Upon speaking with Mrs. DiGuilio, she asked me

to hold on to any shirts and leave them here, as she is asking everyone in grades K-8 to bring in their t-shirts by this Thursday. Every

student needs a LABELED ziplock baggie & 6 rubber bands sent

to school by Thursday. If you did NOT purchase a shirt, your child

will also need to have a plain white shirt to be used for tie dying in their baggie.

4) Contracts for next school year went home in large envelopes

in your child’s homework folder.

5) We have our next school wide TAG day this Friday, the theme is

USA/Red, White & Blue. If you’d like your child to dress down,

please send in the $1 donation that morning in their folder.

6) Next Monday, May 23rd, we have our “Joyful Surprise Day” that will be

an entire morning themed around our adventure with Jack & Annie

in the Magic Treehouse. The timing would be 8:00 to around noon

the latest. Our students have no idea about it, but it consists of us “traveling” to different places together in groups, outside,

and completing different missions at each place. I am working

on putting together a Sign Up Genius to see if we can get

some parent volunteers to assist us in running this amazing

event and running some of the different activities. Please let

me know if you may be able to come & help us make this day

even more magical for our kids! Thank you in advance!

7) Save the Date- Our Kindergarten Graduation is on Wednesday,

June 15th at 9:30 am. We will be sending formal invitations to all

families soon, along with a Google Form for RSVP with a number of guests attending.

8) Please see the Parent Page for any other events going on

(including the upcoming Kona Ice Truck pre-order form for

Tuesday, June 7th) https://sts.stthereseroxbury.org/parents-page
