Week of 5/11

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a blessed Mother’s Day. Thank you all so   much for an incredible teacher appreciation week & all the amazing & thoughtful cards & gifts.

Unfortunately a stomach bug hit the Tironi household this weekend so I wasn’t able to come in today, and I am so so sad to have missed the first day of the final countdown but our class was in the best hands with Mrs. Carl & Mrs. Nowel today. Luckily, fingers crossed, looks like I should be back tomorrow! 🙏

Here is some important information for our week ahead:

Tomorrow snack shop will be open so if you’d like to send $ labeled in folders for your child.

Wednesday is our “c is for camping day” so our students may dress down in any outdoor/comfortable/camping themed attire for a fun themed day. If you signed up for any donations for camping day, please send them in by Wednesday morning.

Thursday we will be attending the May crowning at 1:00 pm at church. Students are still to wear their gym uniform this day though.

Reading folders came home today with new weekly materials & our new spelling pattern (th digraph). Please keep folders at home and return them with completed work on Friday.

Next Tuesday is our spring music concert for grades K-8 at 6:30 pm. This will run similarly to the Christmas concert we had in December where we will meet in the 2nd grade classroom at drop off. I am working on finalizing all the specific timing and other details from Mrs. Pachella tomorrow & will update you all to let you know.
