Week of April 3rd

Good Afternoon,

Happy April! I hope everyone has had a wonderful start to Holy Week!

We have a short but very special week ahead.

Please review the following info carefully:

1) Tomorrow is our Easter Picnic & Egg hunt celebration. A detailed letter

reminder is being sent home in homework folders (you can also see the

image attached below to this message as well).  I know many of you have

already RSVP-ed (thank you!) but if you wouldn’t mind I am requesting ALL

our families to please fill out this Google Form below ASAP so I can have a

better idea of how our day will go tomorrow. Truly appreciate all your

support & assistance  and am greatly looking forward to an amazing

celebration. 🙂

2) There will be no weekly homework or new spelling/sight word

units this week. We will be focusing on Holy Week & preparing for Easter.

3) This Wednesday we will be celebrating our class filling up our March

Kindness Challenge by having a “Buddy Board Game Day”! Our students may

each bring in ONE board game (optional) if they would like to play with our

8th grade buddies on Wednesday. Please ensure your child’s name is on their

game if they bring one in.

4) Spring uniforms may now be worn from this week until the remainder of

the year. Layers are still crucial, as weather changes so often, so please

make sure your child’s uniform pieces (sweaters, sweatshirts, etc.) are LABELED! :)

5) SAVE THE DATE- As per Mr. Dunnigan’s blog on Friday, our end of year

dates have been set and due to unused snow days we are getting out earlier

than originally scheduled. Therefore our Kindergarten Graduation will be

held on Wednesday, June 7th at 9:00 am (please note- time on calendar says

10:00 but we are planning on changing it to 9:00 am). Please note this is

Kindergarten’s LAST day, they come for Graduation ONLY & then they

officially finished for the school year! The big school’s (Grades 1-7) last day

is Thursday, June 8th.
