Week of May 12th

 


Good Afternoon Everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and all our amazing

moms had a fabulous Mother’s Day as well. Thank you all so

much from the bottom of my heart for the absolutely

AMAZING teacher appreciation gifts, supplies, cards,

and treats. I am so grateful and you truly made my week

so special.


I apologize for my delay in our weekly update, I was out

yesterday but our class was in the best hands and has

been doing a great job this week so far! 


Here is some important information for our week(s) ahead:

1) Reading folders went home yesterday with our new

weekly work. Please return these reading folders on

Friday. 


2) Next Tuesday is our Spring Music Concert for grades

K-8th beginning at 6:30 pm. All students are asked to wear

their “Sunday best” and be dropped off to the big school

at 6:15 pm. Kindergarten students will be meeting in the

second grade classroom (first classroom on your left upon

entering the big school). Students will remain in

classrooms during the concert until it is their turn to sing.

Then once ALL grades (K-8) have completed their

performances that is when you can come back to the 2nd

grade classroom and pick up your children at the

conclusion of the entire concert. 


3) Our big top secret but marvelous “M” day surprise is

coming up next week as well and we are looking for some

additional help to make it extra MAGICAL! If you are

4) Summer Camp registration is still ongoing at this time,

as we are hoping for some more amazing kiddos to join us.

5) Please continue to check the Final Countdown calendar

each day- it is going so quickly but so much fun!

We have now officially finalized our Kindergarten

Graduation Date! We will be holding our Graduation

ceremony & celebration on

Wednesday, June 11th at 10:00 am.

Our last day of school will be Tuesday, June 10th and

K students will come ONLY for graduation on

Wednesday the 11th.

More info will come as we get closer. 🙂

Week of May 5th

 


Hello Everyone! Happy Cinco De Mayo! 

I hope you had a great weekend. We have a VERY busy

but super special month ahead.

Please read the important information below for this week:


1) Today we visited the Book Fair to make our wish lists.

In your child’s homework folder today you will find the

wish list they have created. Please review these lists

at home then highlight/circle the items they are

allowed to purchase, and then send back in BOTH

the wish list AND money for payment no later than

Wednesday morning. We will be returning to the

Book Fair on Wednesday morning to shop for books. 


2) I cannot believe tomorrow we are officially beginning

our Kindergarten Final Countdown! Tomorrow we will begin

with letter A for Animal Action Day. Please refer each

day to the brightly colored calendar that was sent home

last week so your child is prepared for each fun event. 🙂


3) Summer Camp Deadline for registration is coming up

this Sunday, May 11th. If you are interested in our

4) Reading folders are coming home today with our new

monthly and weekly work. Weekly work is due back

Friday, monthly will be due back on Monday, June 2nd.

Graduation Date! We will be holding our Graduation

ceremony & celebration on

Wednesday, June 11th at 10:00 am.

Our last day of school will be Tuesday, June 10th

and K students will come ONLY for graduation on

Wednesday the 11th.

Week of April 28th

 



Welcome back everyone! I hope you all had a Blessed

Easter and a wonderful spring break with your families.

It is so great being back with our amazing class today. 


Here is some info about our week ahead:

1) Reading folders are coming home today with our

new weekly homework- which includes our new spelling

words (“ch” digraph) and new sight words (Primer List 3).

Weekly homework is due back on Friday and

April monthly work is back next Monday, May 5th. 


2) Tomorrow we will be going to snack shop during

lunch. Please send your child’s snack shop $ in their

folder labeled if you’d like them to purchase.


3) There is Nature Club this Thursday afternoon. 


4) Summer Camp is quickly approaching and we have

so much fun planned this year! We really would LOVE to

have more enrollment if possible! If you are interested in

sending your child to join us this summer (even if it is only

for a random few days or weeks throughout the summer,

the program is a la carte so you can make your own

Week of April 8th

 



Good Afternoon Everyone!
I hope you are doing well. Thank you again for such a

wonderful and memorable trip yesterday.

Feel free to send any pics if you’d like as well.

We have a busy two weeks coming up before spring break! 

Please read below for important information &

reminders:

1) Students who sent back their completed March

monthly reading homework received prize coupons today.

If your child has not returned it, they may still bring it

in this week. 


2) Reading homework is going home today with our new

spelling words and practice sheets. Due to the field trip &

the shortened week, we are going to be doing a review

week of all 5 short vowels & all 3 letter CVC words for our

test. Completed work is due back Friday morning, which is

when we will take our spelling test. This is our last test

until we get back from Easter break. 


3) Spring picture day is on Friday. Only students who are

getting pictures done should be dressed in their “Sunday

Best”- any students who are NOT getting pictures, must

be in regular uniforms.


4) Our next monthly TAG day is coming up Monday 4/14.

There is no specific theme. Please be sure to send in the

$1 donation on Monday unless you paid in advance for the

year.


5) Our K Easter Party & Egg hunt will be on Tuesday 4/15.

Families are welcome to join us in the church yard on

Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 pm. Please refer to the letter

sent home last week with specific info & please fill out the

google form RSVP if you haven’t already done so.
