Good Afternoon!
I hope everyone had an amazing weekend.
We are continuing through our Final Countdown-
please check that calendar daily for the fun events!
We have another incredible week ahead,
please review the info below:
1) Tomorrow we will be having our Friendship Fruit Salad
for the Final Countdown activity. This will take place at snack time
and the students will receive a few pieces of the following fruit,
oranges, raspberries, pears, mixed fruit, cherries, pineapple,
blueberries, and one tube of yogurt. Please let us know if you
would rather your child NOT eat their fruit salad.
2) On Friday we will be having an Ice Cream Party for our Final
Countdown activity. We are looking for some assistance in
purchasing supplies. If you would like to help us out,
please see the sign up genius link below. Thank you so much!

3) Tomorrow for Teacher Appreciation Week it is “Favorite
Sports Day”. Students may wear a shirt with their teacher's
favorite sports team (for us it is- Mets, Yankees, Pirates,
Patriots, Giants, Volleyball). This is completely optional and not
required. If students do not have a shirt with these teams they
may wear any STS shirt WITH their regular uniform bottoms
(skorts/shorts/pants). As per Mr. Dunnigan, it is not a full dress
down or TAG day.
4) Next Thursday, May 18th is our Spring Music Concert.
It will be split into two sessions with Kindergarten-Fourth Grade
performing at 6:30 pm. K-4 students will be required to be at
school no later than 6:15 pm that evening. Students are asked to
dress in their “Sunday Seasonal Best”. After 4th grade performs,
K-4 students will be escorted back to their classrooms (we will be
meeting in grade 2 again just like Christmas Concert) and they
must be picked up by parents there. You are free to leave at that
time after picking up your child. The band will perform at 7:30
and then 5th-8th grade following at 7:45.
5) On Tuesday, May 30th the HSA will be providing ALL
students with a Kona Ice Treat. ALL students must have a
completed permission slip in order to participate. Please see
the link below to print & return this slip no later than 5/23. Thank you!
